Newest Addition

I've been meaning to post this, but I've been super busy with doctor appointments lately...The hubs and I are proud to announce that June Bug has a little sister.

Her name is Mae, she was born on August 7th, 2014 and we LOVE her to pieces.

Her sister is making sure she knows how things roll around our house:

And they have SUCH a rough life....

She has such a personality and loves to wake up at 6AM...every morning and proceed to jump on us.  She has only peed on me twice...actually three times, but makes up for it with her sweet snuggles and sloppy kisses.

Compared to her sister June-bug, Mae is a lot more independent.  She loves to romp around and drive the hubs and I crazy by going behind our shed...when it's dark.  Her favorite thing is to bring us presents in the form of sticks.  Giant sticks.  And when she somehow gets past me and brings them in the house, she runs through the kitchen, hitting the stick against a wall and going straight for the couch, where eventually I confiscate them.  Right now, there is a collection of about five on top of our pie safe because if I throw them back outside, what happens?  She brings them back.

Unlike her sister she is addicted with climbing up our swing set and going down the slide:

I keep her in the bathroom with me when I'm taking a shower because frankly I don't trust her.  She is teething and chewing on EVERYTHING!!

Usually this is how things end up:

She's soaked and usually has to pee right away.

She is addicted to drinking water.  Not necessarily out of her dish, but anywhere else.  She will literally body slam herself into our cabinets in order to tell us that she is thirsty.

Potty training is going.....let's just say it's going.  She has her good moments and bad moments.  Little Mae is a stealth ninja when it comes to peeing/pooping in the house.  There was one afternoon where I was doing some cooking and she was actually being really good that day.  I was talking to her (yes, I talk to my fur babies), telling her what a good girl she is....I turn around and see that she peed.  Yup, and when I scolded her...she peed some more.

She has long gangling legs, gets wild Springer rage and runs crazy throughout the house, tortures her overly tired, older sister June bug, but she is a part of our little clan and we love her more and more every day!
