Color Blocked Candle Holder

A while back my mom and I were at Goodwill and I found some brass candlesticks for about $2.00 a piece and I snatched them up!  I dont have any "before" pictures of them but these are kind of what they looked like before I got my hands and spray paint on them!

I started out with a a few coats of Rustoleum's flat white spray paint and left it as is for a while.

Then when I was working on the dining room, I decided to add a little color to them and painted them the same green (Sherwin Williams Grandiose) as the living room and some of the decor in the dining room.

This is after one coat of paint....as you can tell from the brush strokes.

About 3-4 coats of paint later this is what I ended up with!!

It was a super simple, obviously very cheap project to do, and I love how the pop of color really ties together the rest of the green accents I have in the dining room!
